Aaron Phiby Comes Correct For the Most Part

I like this one quite a bit but the eyebrows are to thick and empahsized and angry. Other than that, I really like it.
For these sketches, instead of using a Dixon Markette I used a Prismacolor Marker. The top and bottom sketch were done with a brown marker.

ooh! I'm really digging the change in marker style. that middle one especially, looks more brushy fluidy which I've been trying to translate into my park sketches but with the copic being too flimsy for me for sharp angles, I might have to try using a prismacolor marker. weird that I never thought of trying that.

that last one seems more aggressive with the overall angles and such too, me likey.

I like the more controlled yet erratic background strokes too.

I know we see things differently, but the 2nd one, I was thinking his eyes were more closer together than farther apart. and I was thinking his big lips were more emphasized than his nose...I think you tend to do big noses at times? I know that's usually true...but sometimes I don't feel they're as big as you do on some folks sometimes, eh, could be more personal style.

again, I'm really feeling that marker style on that one, hope to see more of that, feels like another level up or something from ya.

Were you using a chisel tip on the second sketch? The third one looks like Jeff Pecina a bit...
