  reject. And I was joking with them and we were having a good time. I was hamming it up a little which makes this reject all the more sour. It was all the guy. He gets a 2 because I know it was all male ego stuff. I change my mind. I'll give him a three, because they were pretty quick and clean about it. That's all there is for this week. I'm getting a little tired of the sound of my own voice so it might just be pictures for a while up in the blog wasteland, but I'll try to make um fresh and funky.

At the Japan Mini-Convention

I do believe of all the minicons this one took the record for attendance. 50 more people and it would have been the size of a regular con. It was held on the outskirts of Nagoya Japan at the airport, and about a hundred artists showed up. One special thing that happened here that I experienced for the first time was the way they brought the public into the retail competition process. We were actually drawing paying customers. It was held at a busy airport so there were tons of regular ordinary people eager to participate for the 5 dollar tickit fee which they would redeam with the artist of their choice. Here's me and Young Eun. 

As for the con itself I had a vision for my wall and I might have pulled it off with a few more days. But have a look.

I'm doing a gallery show in Japan with Anne Bush and Chihiro! How cool! We have to paint specific celebrities that are on a list. Albert Einstein, who I posted already, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Hayao Miyazaki, Charles Darwin, Emma Watson, Audrey Hepburn. Now mind you some of these are a bit rushed. There was some misunderstandings. Anyway, here we go. I'm gonna tell you who everybody is for the sake of clarity.
