two drawings that give off different vibes

This likeness was decent. The expression I drew on him was a bit more reposed than the one he's giving in the photo.

Batray

Tall kid and his nanna. She had a real cool face, and was a little stocky, so I was a bit nervous about how she would react to me drawing what I was looking at, which was her face, but it turns out she's okay with her face, and so am I and so was her kid. So everything was okay, just the way it should be. I like it when everything is okay, and it was. She, in her moo-moo, he in his wife-beater.

This is just made up. I like the water and the kid's expression and the interaction between the two.

Piere Fernandes

Right now on Piere Fernandes's Blog there's an awesome caricature of an old man at the bottom left. Yall should check it out real quick cuz its amazing, and you won't be able to see it after he updates again cuz it'll get bumped off the list cuz thats how his blog works. I can't find an "older posts" button. Piere Fernandes is in my links. His drawings are unspeakably cool.

Photos Taken by my Dear Friend Sam

Sam Gorrie, a caricature artist working in Las Vegas came to visit San Diego for a little bit to go to Comicon and also to watch the Beast Heads draw, (that's Sea Worlds caricature artists). It was great having her behind me talking me up to my customers a bit. It increased their confidence and helped me loosen up a bit. She took a picture of this one. I like it pretty well except the hand that's dunking.

I Didn't Do This But I Did Find It

If anybody can tell me who the artist is, I'd really like to know. I saw this older Mexican lady walking by and this was on her carrying bag. She let me take a photo.

Aaron Philby's Great Big Fourth of July Update!!!

I'm really happy with the atmosphere of this drawing

Scary Baby Outtake

There's this book called Chester the Worldly Pig. Its about a pig that looks like a globe cuz of his spots. I took that idea, pretty much.

This is a reject from a while ago

This is about the most appealing looking reject I've gotten

Katie

Guy

This one's for you, Dan. I call it 'Estrogeny.'

Happy People

The man is a linebacker for the Detroit Lions. His wife is a professional runner. The two of them were the most kind and enjoyable people I could hope for. And those are my dumb friends in the background.

He had the voice of John Goodman and a way cool face.

The gentleman in this photo is Josh Greenbaum, a writer of comedy for television. Delightful customers were they. Hairy legs had he.

More great people. These two were so in love I just had to put a heart. That one's for you Kevin Reuter. I know you love the hearts. One last thing. I shoulda done the guys lip different because you can see in the photo that its thick all the way across.

Ronald Searle

I thought I'd post somebody else's art on here for a change. This is my favorite artist ever. His name is Ronald Searle. Observe his keen sense of composition and his muted color. Marvel at his gritty and observational cartooning.

I love teeny little actions in big open spaces.

Even More

This is Jared. I also drew him way back at the beginning of my blog.

This is new fella workin for us named Ben.

A couple doodles of Brian Oakes. I did a little painting of the bottom one which I'll post one of these days.

Deleted Scenes

A lot of good things happened in this Asian kid drawing even though I feel like I completely missed my main objective which was to make it real clean and organized looking.

This is my least favorite of the batch, but my friends all like this one, prolly cuz of the posture or something.

I scratched this one out pretty fast, but I like the proportions of it and her face.

Drawn in a Coffee Shop

Member those Loony Toons shirts. Of course you do.

two park sketches for your enjoyment

Number 1 Dap

I like the way his body turned out. I kinda like how her face turned out. I like the shimmer of the background water. Eveything else, take it or leave it.
