Caricatures at La Jolla
Me, myself, and Aida, and Markus and Natekap went and drew caricatures in La Jolla, right there around the area where we usually go to paint at the beach. Here are some happy lil customers.

New Post
If you look at the girl in the photo up close, she looks really evil for real...like scary evil. But anyway, this was the best reaction I've had...I think...ever. There was that laughing where you can't catch your breath. I saw tears. It was quite a scene. I can't take all the credit. These were awesome people and it seemed the situation was just right. There was the right amount of nervousness and, within the family, there was a really good rapport between the people. When they saw the drawing there was such an eruption and it really made my day, maybe even my week. 
This one turned out alright. It was one I was so so about from the get go, but I just kept muscling through and trying to save it, and I'm glad I didn't give in to the temptation to finnish it all quick and crappy cuz it turned out ok.Monday, August 9, 2010
