I am very sorry to regret that my painting experiment is not complete by the beginning of March. I knew that was wishful thinking. I'm aiming for May now. Don't hold your breath or you will die. Here's what I got for ya today though.
haha omg, i expected psycho music to play when you entered the room. I hate to be a sheep but i think those bluhms have the best likeness. now i really want to draw you.
Andy, I don't know what you're talkin about "no longer available." And Anne, I think it's time you draw me now that you have all the answers. Just joking, kind of. pires. yes, mucho quando grande! VIVE LA CARICATURA!!!
Wow. It sure is a different experience when you see them all together! When you first walked into your room, the sheer volume of caricatures just hit me . You have quite a collection. Two things: I made a cameo (yee-hee!) , and I was just waiting for you to start busting out laughing at some of those! I couldn't stop crackin' up!
when you say eventually it becomes a caricature of a caricature of a caricature, you're assuming that most people who have drawn me have seen other caricatures of me before and you're also assuming that people can't distance themselves from these drawings and focus on the subject matter, or using the other artists observations as a jump off point. Think about political cartoons. Those guys use each others ideas like crazy and eventually arrive at a supersimplified near perfect likeness, at least the good artists do.
